Manhattan Community Outreach Fair
On September 25, 2024, The Liberty Fund participated in the Community Outreach Fair conducted by Manhattan Justice Opportunities. This event builds upon our partnerships and ongoing efforts to expand into re-entry solutions, as we continue to assist individuals by providing the support and tools they need to stay out of the criminal justice system.
The Interview
On April 18, 2024 The Liberty Fund participated in a screening of The Interview, a powerful short film on the injustices of New York’s parole system featuring The Doe Fund’s own Kevin Brantley. After the movie, a panel discussion with Kevin, The Liberty Fund, Bend the Arc, and the Release Aging People in Prison discussed ways we all can advance solutions. Click here to watch.
Best Practices in Client Engagement
On December 14, 2023, The Liberty Fund gathered NYC’s foremost minds in reentry solutions – The Doe Fund, Bronx Community Solutions, Manhattan Justice Opportunities and exalt – for its second virtual discussion on how community-based service providers are shifting from court-mandated programs and referrals to providing voluntary programming and services. Reforms Are Great, But What Comes Next?
On November 9, 2021, The Liberty Fund hosted its first virtual discussion on the role of community-based services in recent criminal justice reform from the service provider perspective. As these reforms are challenged in public debate and the current crisis at Rikers Island, this webinar discusses the reasoning behind recent reforms, and how community-based services play a key role in their success going forward. Bronx Reentry Resource Fair
On November 6, 2021, The Liberty Fund participated in the Bronx District Attorney’s Bronx Re-Entry Resource Fair, demonstrating our efforts to expand our pretrial work into re-entry solutions. This fair exemplifies a new effort to allow individuals to select best-fit community-based services that meet their needs. We look forward to participating in future fairs.
The NYC Criminal Justice Agency Report

The Liberty Fund to Introduce New ROR Services

City Council Bail Fund Begins Operations
